The president of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas has accused Israel of committing "genocide against Palestinian people" in the Gaza Strip after the Israeli military campaign “Protective Edge” killed 43 locals, including small children and women. “It is genocide. Killing of entire families is Israeli genocide against Palestinian people,”Abbas said, speaking from his residence in Ramallah on the West Bank. The military operation started on Tuesday, and since then about 430 targets in Gaza have been hit, Israeli military reported. RT
