Germany’s Foreign Ministry notes transition of Ukrainian conflict to quieter phase

TASS - The crisis in Ukraine has a possibility for resolution now as the situation in that country has become more stable, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said here on Thursday. He said that when he was taking a look at the world map and seeing Syria, Libya and Iraq, the Ukrainian crisis, the Ukrainian conflict seemed to him to be the only one that still had chances for a solution. Steinmeier said it looked like the situation in the former Soviet republic was finally transiting into a quieter phase and soon the parties to the process might really be talking not only about a ceasefire but also about a political solution to the conflict.
