In response to the Call for Resistance against Imperialism and its interventionist wars of dec 25th 2012 Bärbel Schindler Saefkow, daughter of Anton Saefkow, who was hanged by the Nazis for resisting their philosophy and above all their war policy, announced that the speakers of the German peace-movement would not support the call which they considered soft on dictatorships like Iran and Syria.
She also says that "refusing regime changed" was not considered an anti-imperialist strategy, given the human costs that those dictatorships have taken on their shoulders.
