Syria sends letter to UN about foreign arms supplies to Terrorists

Syria’s Foreign Ministry informs UN about Western funding and arming of the terrorist groups in Syria.
The Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Ministry in Damascus has sent two identical letters to the UN Security Council Chairman and UN Secretary General on Thursday. The letters from Syria to e.g. UN chief Ban Ki-moon are about the foreign support of the armed terrorist groups in Syria with weapons and money by certain Western governments and the United States. Not to mention that some of these governments also support Al-Qaeda-affiliated groups in Syria.
According to the information, the identical letters by the Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Ministry to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the Chairman of the UN Security Council (UNSC) speak in detail about the continuation of the arms supplies and funding of armed terrorist groups and Al-Qaeda-linked jihadists in Syria by the U.S. administration in Washington and its Western allies and the usual regional tools such as Jordan.
The Syrian state news agency SANA reported that the Syrian government in Damascus has inundated the UN Security Council (UNSC) as well as UN chief Ban Ki-moon with “tens of letters” and also a documentation about the ongoing crimes of the Western-backed terrorist groups on Syrian soil.
The documentation shows what Syria has been facing over the last two years of a direct and indirect aggression and examples of crimes by the foreign-backed terrorists on Syrian soil. The identical letters to the two representatives of the United Nations (UN) also pointed out the “blatant interference in its domestic affairs and breaches of its sovereignty and independence, and endeavours to change its leadership and constitutional system by force” by foreign nations.
According to the statement by the Syrian Foreign and Expatriates Ministry, these attempts for a regime change in Syria were carried out by the United Nations, its Western allies and the regional tools of Washington – especially by Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Britain, and France. These governments back the armed terrorist groups fighting in Syria but they also support the Syrian Al-Qaeda offshoots with their violent brigades and designations like Jabhat al-Nusra and the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant.
The official statement by the Syrian Ministry in Damascus further stated that these groups (Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar, United States, France…) have worked to destroy the Syrian nation and supported the committed crimes and atrocities against Syrian civilians. It further says that these backers and supporters of the armed terrorist groups in Syria have offered these extremists and Al-Qaeda-linked jihadists “all kinds of media, political, financial, military and logistical aid, turning a blind eye to their crimes and blaming the Syrian government-contrary to common sense and logic-for what is going on in Syria.”

The letter and statement by the Syrian Ministry in Damascus also blames the officials from the United States, France, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Britain and Turkey for the training, recruiting and hosting of the armed terrorist groups and al-Qaeda-linked extremists in Syria by providing the terrorist groups with special weapons and a military and logistical assistance. However, the Syrian letter to the United Nations (UN) also mentions the meeting of the enemies of Syria, the so-called “Friends of Syria” and the biased and hypocritically policy of certain Western governments.
Of course, the Arab League (AL) and its strange behaviour and the dangerous decisions by the Arab Foreign Ministers of the Arab League (AL) are also a topic of this letter and the Syrian Ministry has underlined in addition that the arming of the terrorist groups and the al-Qaeda-linked extremists in Syria by Western governments, including the United States, needs “no proof on the part of the Syrian government as these countries admit openly of offering them all kinds of assistance.”
