A Curious Analogy – Coronavirus Misrepresentations

As the contemporary Corona virus hysteria narrative continues to collapse (here and here) another dubious narrative, launched a quarter of a century ago – Srebrenica genocide – comes to mind. The common thread of both narratives is that they have just enough genuine elements to provide a seemingly plausible foundation for a vastly exaggerated tale. The Covid-19 virus can endanger health, and even be lethal, to certain classes of the population, but how much more than that is it? In Srebrenica in July of 1995, about a thousand Muslim prisoners were executed by a rogue outfit of the Serb army. That being said, neither situation was selected by humanists for special promotion, they both serve cynical political agendas conceived for fundamentally anti-human purposes.
The virus epidemic is a tool for achieving a new level of regimentation for mankind and for elitist restructuring of the neo-liberal financial and economic system, while its victims cower helplessly under curfew, in fear of contagion. The ambitious Srebrenica operation was conceived, under cover of sanctimonious cant, also as a tool to achieve several strategically important objectives. The main one, as it turned out, was to furnish a rationale for the cynically misnamed Right to Protect doctrine, enabling Western imperialist powers to arrogate to themselves the sole right of intervening to “rescue” endangered nations. In the process, several million innocent Muslim lives, many times the number of alleged Srebrenica victims, were pitilessly sacrificed for the plunder of their countries´ coveted natural resources and geopolitical advantage.
Neither narrative would have succeeded without the unconditional support of the corrupt globalist media, drowning out critical voices which recommended a careful study of the facts and a cautious approach to drawing momentous conclusions without solid evidence. Through alternative news sources, we are now learning extremely interesting things about the dreaded Covid-19. It seems that this type of virus is quite common, at least in its laboratory-unmodified form, that it is not necessarily lethal unless certain very stringent conditions are met, and that it is not even as easily communicable as the induced hysteria has claimed. Over a much longer period of time, since Srebrenica in 1995, we have learned that there is no forensic evidence to support nearly 8,000 executions and that a considerable quantity of remains of men killed in combat was callously misrepresented as belonging to execution victims. All the exhumed bodies around Srebrenica were automatically adjudged to belong to execution victims who were subjected to genocide. Similarly, anybody dying today with even a trace of Corona virus in their system is automatically listed as a victim of the pandemic, so publicly cited statistics could be made to look more intimidating.
Oddly, or perhaps not, when speaking of statistics, in both cases they utterly fail to buttress the official story. A careful comparison of mortality data for the United Kingdom over the last several years and this year, since the officially proclaimed pandemic began, shows no significant increase in recorded deaths. Would the situation be found to be different in other countries if their data were studied as meticulously? Similarly, after the “genocide,” in Srebrenica the Muslim population continued to be in the majority and for many years controlled the local administration. A Serb mayor finally was elected quite recently, supported by many disgruntled Muslim voters mainly because his predecessor was seen as incompetent and corrupt.
Another notable parallel is that making waves about either narrative, Covid-19 or Srebrenica, is not a good idea and can result in social and professional ostracism. Both narratives serve as the norm of political correctness in their respective spheres. Denial, or even insistence on a nuanced alternative explanation, is without examination equally scorned as a “conspiracy theory.” Wikipedia features a meticulous listing of “Srebrenica genocide deniers” so that they may be exposed to deserved public calumny for their heretical views. A similar hit list of “coronavirus deniers”has also emerged recently. Strategies for getting “coronavirus sceptics” into the right-thinking fold are being actively developed. When persuasion is no longer enough, what will come next?
The officially sacralized narratives, both Srebrenica and now Coronavirus, have tested human credulity to the limit. May we ever be allowed to question protected tales, even when under the onslaught of facts they make less and less sense? As Peter Hitchens has cogently argued, the demise of critical thinking (as well as common sense) in the fabled West has taken an alarming turn:
“We demonstrated, in fact, that we don’t really have a civil society any longer. What shocked me having spent such a long time in the Soviet Union is that under the Soviet Union’s rule most people regarded it with a certain amount of contempt, made jokes about it, realized they were being mocked and fooled. In this case the population accept what they’re being told without any question. It’s extraordinary. The old USSR would have loved to have a population like the current western world which actually genuinely believe the propaganda and does what it’s told.”
Only Oswald Spengler may have put it better, in the very title of his masterwork, Der Untergang des Abendlandes. https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2020/04/11/a-curious-analogy-coronavirus-misrepresentations-follow-srebrenica-script/

The wicked social control experiment using virus as the pretext for further enslavement is performing magnificently by implanting a sense of helplessness, dependence, and blind conformism. It should be noted that the favorable atmosphere enabling Them (whoever they are) to accomplish just that was contrived by the controlled and unscrupulous media in under a month of intense, coordinated, global brainwashing. Praise is in order, not for the obviously immoral master plan but for the technical excellence of its execution. In the subservient Balkans, local  quislings have expectedly introduced a practically region-wide state of emergency, giving that ignoble set of local petty tyrants broad powers to impose controls and reorder the pattern of everyday life. Hardly noticed by anyone, the operation has closely followed the choreography set by Germany’s infamous Ermächtigungsgesetz of 1933, the immediate pretext being the only major substantive difference between them. Similar restrictions and intrusions have been enjoined in all the leading “western democracies” as well.
The background of the induced panic has been dealt with cogently and  extensively by Prof. Igor Panarin (here and here). An indirect corroboration for Prof. Panarin’s “hypotheses” (as he modestly likes to call them) is the official redesignation of the heretofore bland sounding “COVID-19” as the “Chinese virus”, personalizing at last the malignant invisible enemy. German physician Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg has argued that corona has been known for decades to be an integral part of the viral structures attacking our bodies on an annual basis, to which the human immune system has by and large successfully adapted,
It seems that the enemy’s sudden onslaught was anything but unanticipated, however. Curiously, evidence has just emerged that a few months before the viral outbreak that is shaking the world, on October 18 2019, an interesting gathering was hosted in New York City by Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, Bloomberg School Of Public Health, World Economic Forum, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. It was organized under the code-like name of “Event 201.” The gathering received scant media attention and the remarkable prescience of its participants was left completely and unjustly unremarked. To add another curious detail to these proceedings, one of the key players, Bill Gates, turns out to be a known champion of (a) radical population control (and here), and (b) mass vaccination. Without casting any aspersions, it just so happens that in practical terms the two issues are closely entwined. Mass vaccinations, preferably starting with the forced vaccination of very young children with substances of unknown but suspicious provenance and composition, may be but a step in the population control program, whether by directly injecting debilitating conditions and diseases or provoking sterility, which ultimately comes down to the same thing.
Indeed, the biggest “known unknown” (as once someone famously put it) of the coronavirus affair may be precisely the nature of the vaccine which will probably be generated by the same pharmaceutical establishments which so presciently foretold the onset of the current crisis. Since the crisis was elevated to a global level, it is not beyond belief that the remedy will also be imposed globally. The reputedly high infectiousness of this sinister “Chinese virus” may be a perfect excuse for doing away with inconveniences  like choice, and suchlike niceties, once it is decreed that everyone is required to submit meekly to the injection of the opaque substance billed as just-in-the-nick-of-time solution for the distressed world.
Which brings us to another curiosity striking the alert observer whose television set, of course, is permanently turned off or, if it is switched on. it is for nothing more prosaic than to watch cooking shows. Forget high government officials who have dropped dead in the sanctioned and embargoed Middle Eastern country which bears the brunt of the public animosity of the Western world. They deserve it, naturally, because they hate our freedoms. But one is hard put to explain, never mind justify, the virus’ apparent easy access to many high-profile Western figures, many of them conspicuous in public life or the world of entertainment. Their susceptibility guarantees the wide dissemination of the message that Covid-19 is no respecter of persons and that if it happened to them, you may be next. To mention just a few of these luminaries, testing positive so far have been the Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju, Hollywood star Idris Elba, and the rightfully famous Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, not to mention sports figures such as Kevin Durant or even former NATO Secretary General Javier Solana, whose misfortune is unlikely to encounter any sympathy in Serbia. Why are these high-profile infections curious? Because these are people who do not walk the crowded streets or use public transport; typically they glide around in their limousines. How did they get infected? Or were they, perhaps, exemplarily and discreetly infected precisely in order to maintain the believers in official facts in a hysteric state and to drive home the point that the day of reckoning is indeed nigh.
We still can only speculate about much to do with this vicious plague. But all is not darkness, as we learn from this sermon by a wonderful American Orthodox priest, Father Josiah Trenham, “Virus chaos and Christian fearlessness.” It could not have been said better. https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2020/03/22/the-latest-plague-so-far-is-a-brilliant-success/

It is a paraphrase, of course, of the inimitable Dame Rebecca West, advanced with unshakable confidence that she would have heartily approved if she were alive today.
The Corona virus put-on job has now been exposed for the brazen social engineering scheme, potential vaccination rip-off (and here), and ideologically driven mass population reduction project that it had always been, from the start.
We now have all the basic facts we require to deconstruct the mendacious, hysteria inducing narrative that was concocted to bludgeon the imprisoned world into submissive acquiescence to its self-destruction.
The key fact that the Covid-19 virus is a laboratory product and therefore man-made was authoritatively established by French Prof. Luc Montagnier who recently disclosed the results of his laboratory analysis of the virus genome. He found it to be laced with spliced-in HIV sequences, which effectively excludes the possibility of its being the product of a natural process. (Prof. Montaigner put it extremely delicately: “in fact, part of the virus, not the whole, has been manipulated”.) Was it manipulated by bats in some Chinese caves? Prof. Montaigner, incidentally, is eminently qualified to speak on the subject as he was in 2008 a recipient of the Nobel Prize in medicine for identifying the HIV virus. The fact that as soon as he let the cat out of the bag he became subjected to harsh denunciation (here and here) by all the right circles lends powerful support to the credibility of his findings.
Essentially the same conclusions were reached even earlier, in February, by a group of Indian scientists and published in a paper entitled “Uncanny similarity of unique inserts in the 2019-nCoV spike protein to HI,V-1 gp120 and Gag”. Reassuringly, under ferocious pressure and ridicule by fake news commissars(and here), the scientists were compelled to withdraw their bold paper, because it appeared to have crossed the line of permissible Corona virus discourse even before Prof. Montaigner came out with his assertions. All the more reason to pay serious attention to the glaringly obvious and undeniably significant implications of these fully congruent findings.
Underlining the fact that we have been plunged, without consent and mostly without awareness, into a post-truth world, facts have largely been supplanted by narratives. And narratives are essentially politically convenient fairy tales that nobody sincerely believes but practically everyone must publicly adhere to in order to hold on to what little reputation and dwindling benefits they’ve got left. Team player adherence to public lies (sorry, fairy tales) is a test of good global citizenship. It is a test that to their moral credit the French professor and the Indian researchers have obviously and perhaps to their lasting professional detriment – failed.
Fortunately, the ranks of non-team players in the Corona virus controversy, with all the lurking personal perils that poses, have actually been growing, rather than shrinking.
We are indebted to Dr. Shiva Ayadurai, a brave Indian-American scientist, for making us aware that immunological deficiency is the principal condition propitiating the spread of the Corona virus and that mass lockdowns, causing sun and vitamin deprivation, as well as depression and other debilitating psychological conditions, has the effect of increasing instead of reducing the immunological vulnerability of the human organism.
Another scientist with impeccable credentials, Dr Rashid Buttar, has argued compellingly that the prevalent Corona virus narrative does not add up. Predictably, this non-team player has also been subjected to brutal media assaults and his public statements have provoked the fury of the political correctness commissariat. In Dr Buttar’s view, anyone who is supporting the use of vaccination to combat COVID-19 is either ignorant or has some hidden agenda or is financially motivated. The basic fundamentals of how the human body works are, he argues, ignored and in the process, and while ostensibly treating patients infected by the virus, basic neurological, physical, virological and medical principles are being violated or simply put aside. Not without reason, Dr Buttar points out that people with expert knowledge are silent either because of social pressures or fear of losing their license.
The concerted effort to blot out every opinion, no matter how qualified, which does not conform to the narrative, on the specious pretext that it “violates YouTube’s terms of service” or the mysteriously undefined “community guidelines,” is undoubtedly the most persuasive indication of the narrative’s extreme fragility. While some competent critiques still manage to squeak through the “bodyguard of lies” (herehere, and here), all the algorithms have been activated to keep non-conforming, question and doubt-provoking opinions off the table and out of the purview of the immature and irresponsible masses.
So to return to the paraphrase of Dame Rebecca West, what is going on? What is the meta-script (as Israel Shamir has coyly put it) behind this impressive global production? The dark intimations that in “elite” circles there may be an intense interest in reducing the excessive number of useless eaters to a smaller and more docile cohort of helot-like servants are not without empirical basis. Why the fanatical insistence on mass vaccination on a global scale, for our own good of course, although the concept would not even pass the scrutiny of an alert high school biology student, who is well aware that vaccination does not work for prospective or mutated new viruses? Or are we all expected now to fall prey precisely to Covid-19 and be vaccinated willy-nilly against its ravages? On whose authority are wealthy private individuals with no medical training but close financial ties to the pharmacological industry announcing public health policy measures and determining the particulars and duration of their application? What arcane foreknowledge enabled them to presciently predict the current pandemicseveral years ago and then suspiciously again, last year several months in advance of its appearance? May the health and welfare of billions of human beings be safely entrusted to self-proclaimed “philanthropists” whose actions are driven entirely by the profit motive, in its various financial, ideological, and perhaps even occult forms? Will billions of people succumb to a corporate media induced mass hysteria and allow profit-making unknown substances to be injected into their bodies, in complete disregard of the fact that on previous occasions similar forms of “relief” had wrought devastation and havoc throughout Asia and Africa, and wherever else they had been administered?
Humanity has good reason to fear and tremble, not so much at the dreaded disease as at its potentially terrifying cure, which we are told is in the making (perhaps in the same laboratories where the disease was concocted) and undoubtedly will soon be unveiled. https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2020/04/26/new-meaning-genocide/

From Gekaufte Journalisten to Gekaufte Wissenschaftler

The two go hand-in-hand, of course. When several years ago the late Udo Ulfkotte published his revelations about the inner workings of the corrupt Western media (ostensibly printed in English by a minor publisher in 2017 but “unavailable” ever since, followed soon thereafter by convenient death by heart attack of the apparently healthy 57-year old German author) who would have suspected that in the fabled West identical processes were corroding other important areas of public life?
Just as a reminder, as the publisher points out in its blurb, “Dr. Udo Ulfkotte, a former editor for the German main daily newspaper, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), has first-hand knowledge of how the CIA and German Intelligence (BND) bribe journalists to write articles free of truth and with a decidedly pro-Western, pro-NATO bent or, in other words, propaganda. In his bestselling book Bought Journalists (“Gekaufte Journalisten”), Dr. Ulfkotte explains in great detail the workings of the U.S. and NATO s propaganda campaign and how a lack of compliance with it, on the part of a journalist, can cost a career.”
The ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, whatever one may think of it, has exposed a situation in Western science that is ominously analogous to what Ulfkotte had described in what passes as its “journalism”.
One of quite a few (but never enough) scientists in the U.S. with integrity to resist the intense career-costing pressure to distort scientific data and conform it to the marketing requirements of huge pharmaceutical concerns is renowned microbiologist Dr. Judy Mikovits. Dr. Mikovits played a leading role in HIV research in the 80s and was fulsomely praised at the time for her contribution to suppressing that epidemic. But her stellar scientific credentials notwithstanding, she quickly became persona non grata for the gekaufte scientific establishment once she started to question some of the sacrosanct verities of the current Corona commotion. “The hammer began to fall,” she explains, “and I was told to deny the data, to misrepresent the data, to throw the data away, and when I refused to do so I was fired. My lab was locked down on September 29 [2019] and my two offices and my entire 30-year career and everything, my notebooks, was confiscated.”
The symbiosis of “Big Science,” “Big Pharma,” and their executive committee (unfortunately the Leninist expression does work best here), also known as “the government,” manifested itself vividly in the Neil Ferguson Oxford College fiasco, using a rigged mathematical model and disregarding hard data to conjure up a phantasmagorical pandemic disaster scenario which subsequently resulted in a genuine economic, social, and for hapless millions personal, disaster of incalculable magnitude. In a shameless puff piece devoted to the quack Ferguson, he was praised by Business Insider for having “modeled the spread of all those outbreaks, advising five UK prime ministers in the process. But all that seems like a practice run for 2020.” Indeed, it was, as we are finding out. Left unmentioned, of course, was the appalling track record of Ferguson’s infelicitous consultations, all his predictions in previous epidemics (as well as the current one) having proven flat out wrong every single time. In the end, hemmed in by irrefutable facts, Ferguson was obliged to admit, with the “greatest respect” for Swedish scientists, that Sweden had managed to suppress the Corona virus without resorting to tough restrictions, and he even had the effrontery to add – after the damage caused by his recommendations had turned irreversible – that Sweden had used “the same science as the UK” to achieve a successful public health result at a far lower social cost. But as Ferguson’s like-minded friend George Soros, unequivocally and with amazing frankness, recently put it, “even before the pandemic hit, I realized that we were in a revolutionary moment where what would be impossible or even inconceivable in normal times had become not only possible, but probably absolutely necessary.” The agenda indeed must be advanced at any cost, and as another person from the same unsavoury circle observed not long ago, “you never want a serious crisis to go to waste.”
So now we come to one of the gekaufte Wissenschaft sources of the current global hysteria, as unexpectedly revealed by a most unlikely journalistic authority, The Guardian: “A Guardian investigation can reveal the U.S.-based company Surgisphere, whose handful of employees appear to include a science fiction writer and an adult-content model, has provided data for multiple studies on Covid-19 co-authored by its chief executive, but has so far failed to adequately explain its data or methodology.”
It turns out that this obscure outfit’s impact on the policies and practices of governments and international organizations has been nothing short of spectacular: “Data it claims to have legitimately obtained from more than a thousand hospitals worldwide formed the basis of scientific articles that have led to changes in Covid-19 treatment policies in Latin American countries. It was also behind a decision by the WHO and research institutes around the world to halt trials of the controversial drug hydroxychloroquine. On Wednesday, the WHO announced those trials would now resume.” In other words, what The Guardian uncovered within the Western scientific and governmental nexus was a huge, utterly discreditable case of fraud.
But it was not fraud just in the abstract sense of the word. It had tangible consequences in the real world, affecting directly the life and health of countless human beings.
As when, on May 22, 2020, and entirely based on the “scientific” findings put forward by Surgisphere Corporation, Britain’s prestigious medical journal The Lancet published “Hydroxychloroquine or Chloroquine With or Without A Macrolide For Treatment of COVID-19: a Multinational Registry Analysis”.  It was described (and later the article was mercifully retracted) as an observational study purportedly involving more than 96,000 hospitalized Covid-19 patients in 671 hospitals across six continents. What was not disclosed is the fact that the two lead co-authors have significant, relevant financial conflicts of interest that just may have biased the reported findings.
As if on cue, within days of Lancet’s publication of these bogus data, Dr. Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), referring to HCQ, declared on CNN “The scientific data is really quite evident now about the lack of efficacy.” A media blitz against hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) created a panic: clinical trials aimed at testing hydroxychloroquin for COVID-19 were suspended by international public health institutions, including the World Health Organization, the UK government regulatory agency, and the French government. As Stephen Smith, a U.S. doctor with professional integrity, has pointed out “COVID-19 Patients Died Because of Bogus Lancet Study that Disparaged Hydroxycholorquine.”
It all makes solid financial sense, of course. Hydroxychloroquin is a dirt cheap, widely available remedy the proceeds from which would not fill anybody’s coffers and which would not lend itself to any of the further “crisis exploitation” agendas Messrs. Soros, Gates, Ferguson et al. might have in mind. The threatened globally injected vaccine in the making, however, meets all their sinister requirements, and it offers the prospect of virtually limitless juicy profits to boot. Case closed.
But that is just one of the things that happens when nations and their gekaufte governments allow rascals and charlatans to bamboozle them.

Our Grim Future: Restored Neoliberalism or Hybrid Neofascism?

Pepe Escobar

With the specter of a New Great Depression hovering over most of the planet, realpolitik perspectives for a radical change of the political economy framework we live in are not exactly encouraging.
Western ruling elites will be deploying myriad tactics to perpetuate the passivity of populations barely emerging from de facto house arrest, including a massive disciplinary – in a Foucault sense – drive by states and business/finance circles.
In his latest book, La Desaparicion de los Rituales, Byung-Chul Han shows how total communication, especially in a time of pandemic, now coincides with total vigilance: “Domination impersonates freedom. Big Data generates a domineering knowledge that allows the possibility of intervening in the human psyche, and manipulating it. Considering it this way, the data-ist imperative of transparency is not a continuation of the Enlightenment, but its ending.”
This revamping of Foucault’s Discipline and Punish coincides with reports about the demise of the neoliberal era being vastly overstated. Instead of a simplistic plunge into populist nationalism, what is on the horizon points mostly to a Neoliberalism Restoration – massively spun as a novelty, and incorporating some Keynesian elements: after all, in the post-Lockdown era, to “save” the markets and private initiative the state must not only intervene but also facilitate a possible ecological transition.
The bottom line: we may be facing a mere cosmetic approach, in which the deep structural crisis of zombie capitalism – barely moving under unpopular “reforms” and infinite debt – still is not addressed.
Meanwhile, what is going to happen to assorted fascisms? Eric Hobsbawm showed us in Age of Extremes how the key to the fascist right was always mass mobilization: “Fascists were the revolutionaries of the counter-revolution”.
We may be heading further than mere, crude neofascism. Call it Hybrid Neofascism. Their political stars bow to global market imperatives while switching political competition to the cultural arena.
That’s what true “illiberalism” is all about: the mix between neoliberalism – unrestricted capital mobility, Central Bank diktats – and political authoritarianism. Here’s where we find Trump, Modi and Bolsonaro.
From Anthropocene to Capitalocene
To counterpunch zombie neoliberalism, those believing another world is possible dream of a social-democratic revival; wealth redistribution; or at least neoliberalism with a human face.
That’s where eco-socialism jumps in: a radical rupture with the diktats of the Goddess of the Market, the product of a healthy rebellion against ultra-authoritarian neoliberalism and illiberalism.
In sum, that could be seen as a soft adaptation of Thomas Piketty’s analyses: to break the domination of capital by economic democracy, in the spirit of mid-19th century social democracy.
It’s quite interesting, in this aspect, to consider Fully Automated Luxury Communism, by Aaron Bastani, a refreshing utopian manifesto where we see that once society is stripped off everything superfluous linked to alienation, it’s still possible for everyone to find all the necessary technical means to live “in luxury” without recourse to infinity growth imposed by Capital.
And that brings us to the direct link between the Anthropocene and what has been conceptualized by French economist Benjamin Coriat as the Capitalocene.
Capitalocene means that our current state of appalling planetary degradation should not be linked to an undefined “humanity” but “to a very defined humanity organized by a predatory economic system.”
The state of the planet under the Anthropocene must be imperatively linked to the hegemonic economic system of the past two centuries: the way we developed our system of production and legitimized indiscriminate predatory practices.
The bottom line: to go beyond it, the economy must be reoriented and rebuilt, part of a “big bang in public and economic policies.”
In the Anthropocene, Promethean humanity must be contained so the rape of Mother Earth can be properly tackled.
Capitalocene for its part describes Capital as the crucial root and conditioner of the current world-system. The result of the struggle against the ravaging effects of Capital will determine the possible future of eco-socialism.
And that refocuses the importance of the commons – way beyond the opposition between private property and public property.
Coriat has shown how Covid-19 laid bare the necessity of the commons and the incapacity of neoliberalism to address it.
But how to build eco-socialism? Should it start as eco-socialism in one country (somewhere in Scandinavia)? How to coordinate it across Europe? How to fight ossified EU structures from the inside?
After all both Restored Neoliberalism and illiberalism already count on powerful states and networks. A good example is Hungary and Poland continuing to function as cogs of the German industrial supply chain.
How to prevent someone like Bill Gates to take control of a UN organization, the WHO, thus forcing it to invest in programs that fit his own personal agenda?
How to change the WTO’s free market rules, according to which buying palm oil and transgenic soya contributes to the de facto deforestation of large tracts of Africa, Asia and South America? This is a state of affairs that allows wealthy nations to actually buy the destruction of ecosystems.
Revolution, not reform
Even if neoliberalism was dead, and it’s not, the world is still encumbered with its corpse – to paraphrase Nietzsche a propos of God.
And even as a triple catastrophe – sanitary, social and climatic – is now unequivocal, the ruling matrix – starring the Masters of the Universe managing the financial casino – won’t stop resisting any drive towards change.
Diversionist tactics supporting an “ecological transition” fool no one.
Financial capitalism is an expert in adapting to  – and profiting from – the serial crises it provokes or unleashes.
To update May 1968, what’s needed is L’Imagination au Pouvoir. Yet it’s idle to expect imagination from mere puppets such as Trump, Merkel, Macron or BoJo.
Realpolitik once again points to a post-Lockdown turbo-capitalist framework, where the illiberalism of the 1% – with fascistic elements – and naked turbo-financialization are boosted by reinforced exploitation of an exhausted and now largely unemployed workforce.
Post-Lockdown turbo-capitalism is once again reasserting itself after four decades of Thatcherization, or – to be polite – hardcore neoliberalism. Progressive forces still don’t have the ammunition to revert the logic of extremely high profits for the ruling classes – EU governance included – and for large global corporations as well.
Economist and philosopher Frederic Lordon, a researcher at the French CNRS, cuts to the inevitable chase: the only solution would be a revolutionary insurrection. And he knows exactly how the financial markets-corporate media combo would never allow it. Big Capital is capable of co-opting and sabotaging anything.
So this is our choice: it’s either Neoliberal Restoration or a revolutionary rupture. And nothing in between. It takes someone of Marx’s caliber to build a full-fledged, 21st century eco-socialist ideology, and capable of long-term, sustained mobilization.

Man tut, was man gesagt bekommt.

Was tun?

Kontakt: LindGeorg@posteo.deLiteratur Le Bon, G. (1911 / 2019). Psychologie der Massen.
